The value of investments can go down as well as up. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Historical returns, hypothetical returns, and expected returns are all subject to model risk and to macroeconomic, geopolitical and idiosyncratic factors outside our control. You may not recover the amount originally invested.
The mandate is thematic and expresses concentrated exposure to a small number of secular themes and issuers. A drawdown in any core position can have a material effect on portfolio value. We manage this through pre-committed concentration limits, but we do not eliminate it.
Some allocations may be to private-market instruments or to venture-stage exposure that cannot be liquidated on demand. Withdrawal windows for these sleeves are documented in the applicable sub-fund term sheet.
Digital assets are volatile and settle on public networks. Network outages, protocol upgrades, chain re-organisations and third-party bridge or exchange failures can affect deliverability and pricing. Wallet-address errors are irreversible; use whitelisting.
While client assets are held in segregated multi-signature custody with 95% cold storage, some operational hot-wallet float is required for settlement. Insurance covers a defined set of custodian-loss events, subject to policy limits and exclusions.
Employees may co-invest alongside clients on the same terms. Employees may not front-run client orders. We maintain a written conflicts register and a personal-account-dealing policy; both are available on request.
